How it Works:

Our helpful automated system will place a call to the senior’s home phone number at the predetermined time(s) and say: “Hello (first name), this is Wellness Reminders from In-home Care calling. It’s time for you to take your medication. Have you taken your (names up to 6 medications)? If yes, please say "Yes" or press 1 on your touch-tone phone. If no, please say "No" or press 2 on your touch-tone phone." If the response is "Yes" or 1 is pressed, our system will say “Thank you. Goodbye". If the response is "No" or 2 is pressed, our system will say, “Please do so at this time. Thank you. Goodbye.”

  • You select the specific time of day each Medication Reminder Call is to be made.
  • Up to 6 medications can be selected per call and there can be different medications stated for each call.
  • Our system will make 3 attempts to reach the subscriber at approximately 10 minute intervals for each Medication Reminder Call. If unsuccessful, NO message will be left on an answering machine. Our system will then call the designated contact after 3 failed attempts for each reminder call. Additionally, an email will be sent to the designated contact, if an email address has been provided to us.
  • Flexible scheduling, easy updates. You may change your profile at anytime -- i.e., designated contact, senior's phone number, time of calls, medications to be taken, days of the week, etc.
